I can see why she did that: Her grandmother showed that she was willing to risk all for a misplaced scheme. She’s unrepentant so is likely to do something else in the future. I suspect that not doing anything would be seen by the tribe as being “weak” or tacitly agreeing with her scheme.
In a way, she’s carrying out King Urtica’s orders — i.e. end this permanently.
Well, let’s just say there’s no such thing as a barbarian jail.
They are still a culture in transition from nomadic tribes and clans into a more centralized society. Diana’s simply doing the accepted punishment for someone who tried to kill her mate and head of her clan.
This is how I figure Barbarians solve their problems. No fancy words, no courts.. if you wrong someone they can put an axe in your chest or you can put an axe in their chest depending on who strikes first.
A couple of points:
a) She was, by her own admission, guilty of treason.
b) Barbarian justice. Swift. Brutal. Decisive. Order is restored.
c) Or, is it?

Wow
“There is no point in discussion. Discussion is for the wise and helpless and I am neither.”
Bet that stings
Holy #^*$
Word to the rest of the tribe…it does not pay to reproduce.

Nice…What a bloody April Fool’s Day Post.
Damn Red, do you have any idea how hard it is to clean blood out of this hardwood floor ?
To be fair her grandmother did try to get her lover and grandfather killed and take away her freedom.
Holy F!!k i didn’t see that happening. I guess don’t p!!s off the Redhead with a battle axe.
@Tanap: my bet as well. Does not really fit the “level-headed” category she has been marked for.
Notice, the necklace is back, and the jewel thing on it is red, as is the title of the post.
Coincidence? I think not!
Well I wonder if Red also suspected Her Granmar was behind her Mom’s Death. Not saying she was but if I suspected it then Red may of as well.
Her mother’s death is courtesy of the three stooges whom Will already killed.
Now how are they going to explain THIS to the rest of the tribe?
OUCH!!!
Well, it will only hurt for a short period of time.
That… is bad. >_< Very bad. I know Grina was a danger to the tribe, but still… Killing your own grandma is bad.
Cruel irony there.
Best April Fool Ever.
@Bad Taiming
Excellent advice for everyone.
We are missing something here,
Ditto.
Well, let’s just say there’s no such thing as a barbarian jail.
They are still a culture in transition from nomadic tribes and clans into a more centralized society. Diana’s simply doing the accepted punishment for someone who tried to kill her mate and head of her clan.
She really “axed” for that.
I do hope it is not an April Fool joke.
This is how I figure Barbarians solve their problems. No fancy words, no courts.. if you wrong someone they can put an axe in your chest or you can put an axe in their chest depending on who strikes first.
Remind me never to go to one of their family reunions.
That seems a tad extreme…
@Uhl I know the three stooges part but earlier I was wo ndering GrandMar might been pushing it and put the note in the Suggestion box
Heh. She used to be an old plotter and schemer… but then she took an axe to the chest.
Or maybe…How sharper than a serpent’s tooth is the battleaxe of an angry grand daughter….
Well, exile was an accepted punishment in these time times.
I’m expecting a: “That’s what you should have done.” Sort of follow-up.
That is what you call bloody cleavage.
Red’s made her point very sharply indeed.
Well…that escalated quickly…
Grandma got dead quick. Me likey!
A couple of points:
a) She was, by her own admission, guilty of treason.
b) Barbarian justice. Swift. Brutal. Decisive. Order is restored.
c) Or, is it?
Ain’t the the way of the world?
“Justice demands that we kill you all!”
“Funny, that’s what we say about all of YOU!”
I was considering at least a Bitchslap (for trying to determine red’s life).
This would propably count as a really hard bitchslap among barbarians.
But of course this was also posted on April 1st, so wheter this is canon or not can only be said with the enxt update.
Totally knew this was going to happen
At least Red Diana did two things her dead Granny didn’t do: faced those she killed, and did it herself
Whoa! O_O!
I think the best april fool would be this page being not an april fool. If that makes any sense at all :p
Well…. that’s one way to bury the hatchet.
*ba-dum CHING!*
