We’re Number 5! – Australia
Next page is Saturday the 2nd of March.
Next story page is Monday the 4th of March.
Story pages will now be on Mondays for the foreseeable future.
As Scott will be going on a boat ride of his own very soon, Exiern is going to be moving to Mondays for the foreseeable future starting from March the 4th. In the interim, please enjoy the start of this new feature for 2019 that will appear periodically where we acknowledge the historically top contributing nations to the Exiern audience on or around days of national significance during the course of this year starting with Australia at number five and the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
Which I do admit is just a bit Sydney-centric (it’s obviously in the name, for starters) and hence a bit of an odd one out compared to the others for this feature. Just happened to be the way it unfolded when it was put together, I guess and it’s not like it’s unknown to the nation as a whole and not thematically significant to the content of this webcomic in some ways at least.
The follow up for this page on Saturday the 2nd of March, the day of the actual parade and probably the best known part to many of an event that actually runs over several weeks. We hope to see you then!
As it happens, Project Wonderful had Australia consistently at number four and some of the metrics from Google Analytics also do as well but not all of them, so I had to make an adjudication between it and the closest nation in all the respective categories. However, the relative weighting of the categories in question as I saw it had me putting Australia as number five even though I’m an Australian myself. So come on Australia, let’s get it together going forward!

Wouldn’t it have made more sense for Typh to be riding with Peonie?
For starters, not everyone can generate the necessary upper body strength to pull one of those things.
Neils & Bohr would roast in the heat 😛
I think they’d be fine. If anything, I think they’d do quite well in our local Iron Man competitions.
Do they have the agility to get up from the prone position?
<– Neighbour from across the Ditch on the sunken continent 🙂
Yes.

They do.

When they get knocked down, they get up again.

You’re never going to keep them down!

I love how both Typhan-knee and Teresa have t-shirts with the trans flag.
Well, that’s because, in a round-about-way, Typh is responsible for Teresa being who they are today 😀
And because they are both trans themselves, in one way or another.
Originally, Teresa was a priest named Terry, and he and a bunch of his pals decided they would try and ‘cure’ Typh, unfortunately for them, Typh’s curse didn’t like that idea so rebounded and turned the lot of them female, only the now-called Teresa liked, and embraced, the change
You haven’t been paying attention, Teresa said that she always considered herself a Woman, she always was trans.
And Typhan-knee still seems himself as a man, effectively making him a transman at the moment. This has all been established in strip.
So yes, they are wearing the trans flag because they are both transexual.
The name wasn’t Terry.
I prescribe one archive binge as remedy.
