Swords, Sorcery, And Then Some!
Howdy, New Readers! Thanks for reading Exiern!
Written by Scott T. Hicken with art by Antipus, the comic updates Mondays. Please check out the Archive to enjoy the earlier adventures of Typh and Peonie!
Exiern contains mature themes and is best for readers 18+.
Something makes me suspect trickery is at hand. I feel like there isn’t going to be an actual combat but some organized outcome for the good of the clan.
Her curse morphing or is it showing her true opinion of women?
Or is it closer to a Shape shifting magic now?
Could it be she is channeling the Power of the Author ?
Or dose He-man want his sword back?
Negative points for Wyll-Line from the guys he ordered to leave. (You know he’s being removed from their Christmas List.)
Does Wyll-Line look concerned in the last panel?
That is SOME curse. When I compare what Typhan-Knee looks like in today’s panel and what she looks like here http://www.exiern.com/2013/11/21/not-what-i-meant/ , it’s rather shocking. It’s very handy to have a curse that can change your body at will. One size fits all occasions!
It’s been previously established, that Typhan-Knee’s curse adapts itself based on her own headspace. When she was bemoaning how being a woman made her feel smaller and weaker, she literally became shorter and slimmer, and had difficulty lifting something heavy.
Right now, her head’s in a space where she is totally going to kick her brother’s a!s. She’s thinking of herself more like the man she was before the curse, strong, mighty, 100% the warrior. Her body is adapting to this view of herself.
I liked how the twist to why Typh’s brother was frequently ridiculing him for his present predicament and using that reason as to never agreeing to fight was because he was terrified of a complete thrashing the whole time even in spite of the whole likely size/strength advantage.
At the time, he might have been somewhat more ambivalent about it. He really only reasserts that when he gets back to the kingdom and pitches a fit (nearly skewering the king in the process) when his clothes start … mutating for want of a better word.
Before then, he might not specifically have been identifying as female but he didn’t particular care if people used female pronouns or called him Tiffany until then. Also, if you look back at his wardrobe when he returned back to the kingdom, at least a couple of items of distinctly female clothing. We don’t actually know how he dressed off duty for the best part because we rarely ever saw it post the ball.
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Damn, Typhan-Knee has an impressive set of muscles and i love that six pack.
Tiff seems even bigger and muscular than she did in the last comic. And the brother’s expression looks more worried than angry.
She does seem to gain muscle mass by the panel. Soon those lovely funbags are gonna disappears into rock-hard pecs…Also, dat arm vein lol
I like Tiff’s Magical Colour Changing Pants…
Well, i’d like Tiff’s pants even if they stayed the same colour.
Tiff’s form is affected by her mental state, remember when she took down all the bad guys at the welcome home ball.
Indeed. The more ready her mind, the more ready her body.
My prediction. Northwind will not harm Wyll, because things are not what they seem with him.
so, is he breaking his own rule, wearing that ?
DAYMN, I’m loving Tiff’s muscled look.
Anyone else getting MGS flashbacks?
@Jack: What’chu talkin’ bout? That’s a 12 pack at least; there’s muscles under those muscles!
Apparently the curse depends on Tiffanies mental state.
Kind of like in Howl’s Moving Castle.
The familiar surroundings are affecting her self-image. She’ll break through the roof if she gets any more animated.
Now here’s a Barbarian to watch out for.
Couldn’t help but notice: Tiff looks pretty deformed; Male body (Typical Wedge-shape NO woman has) with t!!s glued-on…
The shaman is the real target, isn’t he?
Something makes me suspect trickery is at hand. I feel like there isn’t going to be an actual combat but some organized outcome for the good of the clan.
Oh, and loving Tiff’s look in the second last panel, almost got a bit of Princess P-cups’ pout going on
Any more testosteron and she’ll break out in a beard and hairy back.
“I’ve seen you’ve grown a pair.”
Charles81: yeah, something involving the Shaman, and possible that guy in the blue turtle-neck (notice the 2 sweat drops above his head?)
Will, you’re still wearing your “skeletor” harness there. You need to go bare-chested too, you know.
Got to love Tiff’s godiva hair. 🙂

The more it goes on the more I’m expecting a Metal Gear to show up. 🙂

Mikasa abs, Typ abs…
CPUGuy1: can see where you get the concerned look from, but no, it’s more of a ‘grrrr’ face
That sixpack is insane…! ^^;

I concur. This is not the look of a muscular woman but of a testosterone-pumped male with implants.
If not for teh boobs, Tiff probably looks exactly like how HE would normally look I bet.
TYphan-Knee looks like a classical depiction of the female body… that is a muscular idealized male body with boobs.
She still has nice legs.
Bluff: Called.
Asskicking: Incoming.

@Hinoron: Well, his. Since Typhan-Knee still identifies as male.
