Okay, that first line could have gone better, but I hope you get what I’m saying. If not, I’m just saying that considering Typh’s background it’s no wonder he has no idea how to approach a prospective romance. It’s something a lot of us struggle with in Real Life no matter what sexual preference we have.
Even those of us whose preferences should make it really easy for us to communicate what we wanted.
To be fair, I’ve not actually had any problems conveying my romantic intentions, except with the one person to whom I wanted to communicate them to. “I want to do what you want me to” seems like it’s difficult to misinterpret. It is, of course, entirely plausible that I managed to convey my intentions to her just fine, and she just wasn’t interested in that sort of a relationship.
men… don’t try to be smartasses – just say “hi, how’re you doing, I’m nervous because I want to make a good impression, how about you?”
if you think the other person is so cool they don’t care about 1st impression, you’re probably wrong about them, and if they hold something like this against you – you really don’t need them.
Besides – being akward shows you care, it’s cute.

I spy, with my little eye, someone who’s got no romantic experience of any kind.
Which is to be expected of a gay man within a widely homophobic culture, never mind one built on raping and pillaging.

I’m especially fond of the Deer-in-the-Headlights look on Typh’s face in those right-side panels.
