Swords, Sorcery, And Then Some!
Howdy, New Readers! Thanks for reading Exiern!
Written by Scott T. Hicken with art by Antipus, the comic updates Mondays. Please check out the Archive to enjoy the earlier adventures of Typh and Peonie!
Exiern contains mature themes and is best for readers 18+.
Checking the past dialogue… Indeed, it is quite consistent with Diana not being aware of Typhan-Knee’s current gender.
It will be interesting to see how this affects her estimate of the danger Typhan-Knee poses. How misogynistic in her assumptions will be Diana, the bad-a!s woman brought up in a society of Barbarians?
Afterwards, the local coroner examined the body. The death was ruled a suicide.
Also, I am now fully in agreement that there is something seriously strange going on with that pendant. It has disappeared way too many times to be just a slip-up by the artist. And yet none of the characters seem to notice that anything is out of the ordinary.
The artist has the built in excuse of the “Dreamer” changing reality as it sees fit. That pendant could be in Kentucky right now, and they’d never even notice that it went missing.
Funny story… it initially STARTED as a slip-up on Shipeng’s part. Then Scott said, “Ya know, let’s run with this.” I have no idea where he plans on running with it, but I suspect it’ll be fun to watch unfold.

“Well when you told me Typhan-Knee’s” trip to the south had made him into a woman, I didn’t think you meant it literally.”
Isn’t she going to pull her axe out of her Grandmother or something?
@Mc Gibson. No. That’s the undertaker’s job.
Red, SHE is right behind you, not entirely happy with this turn of events. Especially since she didn’t get to do the stabbing.
Chaos Sepher, you’re good at this. Very funny.
Also, pulling the axe out may be very difficult if it’s got wedged in the bone. Probably best to leave it for later.
Shorty McWolfhat hasn’t given us his reaction to all this. Rage ‘splosion?
WHAT?!? Diana didn’t/doesn’t know Tiff had been changed???
Oh, My!!! She’s in for a Surprise.
I wonder if Diana knows anything about Typhan-Knees reason fo’ that trip.
I think if laughter is coming.. she might get the same treatment as granny there.
It a shame she was of jealous by the female there first, for him to say, “that my brother”
Is it just me, or does Tiff look a little, umm, grumpy(? pissed? annoyed?) in the 2nd last panel? Almost expect to see a sweat-drop or something 😀

When grandma said she wished she had the cleavage of a younger woman, I’m pretty sure that’s not what she meant…
Soooo… is there going to be a surprise twist where the Dreamer decides he likes the dream so much he has to be in it personally?
Not while I’m telling the story, there won’t.
Me neither. There was already a perfectly fine comic that did that;

No one is saying sorry grandpa for killing your wife. He’s all alone over there. Looking super sad. People in this comic need to be more attentive.
Also, that’s not her axe. So why would she care if it’s stuck in someone’s corpse?
Be funny if GranPa gets up and says “YOU KILLED HER! BUT IT WAS MY DREAM!
