Introducing yourself as a grandchild to unsuspecting grandparents AND complicating the matter by adding details about the gender change? Yeah. That’ll work…
Hopefully her Grandparents will take it well, though having a complete stranger announce in the middle of the street that she is a relative is kinda jarring.
When I have a granddaughter (real soon I hope, my children are in their mid 20’s and I’m 63) I would be honored to have a granddaughter so beautiful. I truly believe that the artist outdid themselves here, and the gender usage lets me believe that Typhan-Knee has had an epiphany.
@hale and @FD – No, no. I don’t mean that it wasn’t brought up. I certainly wouldn’t expect the genderswitch to be mentioned deliberately upon the first meeting. I mean that she referred to herself as “granddaughter” without any initial stumble or correction. The expression in her face leads me to believe she said it as though she accepts it.
Heh! She’s shown herself to be as good as any guy in those things which he is interested in being good at. Why not up and rub the female part into a few faces?
Besides, how far do you think she’d get introducing herself as the lady’s grandson with that body?
ok saying this over “Bold Said out and out… Not really any way else to do it. Will get Awkward it this it like her moms older sister or her moms aunt..”
Yah know, charles81, that’s kinda the primary reason WHY Tiffany’s stayed away. But now she’s coming to understand she can’t keep running away from her past, as well as what she had done as a he.
Yeah, I don’t knock her visiting the grandparents. As you said, she was sort of avoiding it all or hadn’t really developed a respect for women or even her mother until the spell turned her into one and she came to know Peonie much better.
So for most of the years in her exile she would have turned her nose up at the idea that her Mother’s side of the family was anything worth even considering. The longer she stayed as a woman the greater her perspective changed and the more uncomfortable she became with her past actions. With Denver she finally faced those past actions head on with the new perspective and here we find her, likely thanks to Niels (although I guess she could have just as easily asked around town).
@ Think Northwind Changes sizes when no one looking at it. That sneaky Artifact seem good at hiding in plain Site.. Normally she has pulled it out of her pack thats to small for it, so no I am not kidding, We also seen her keep it down her back. Again when it was to big.. Bet its behind her hair. Thor’s hammer in Legend could do the same trick.
Shiping, this gets my vote for the best portrait of Tiffany so far. Beautiful costuming, stance, and expression.
This is TK fully invested in the Tiffany persona, at least for the moment. Powerful, noble(in the political sense). Martial, without being warlike (no visible weapon)–and not unfeminine.

Also i am rich and in good with the King and the Princess.
Interesting that the introduction is “Tiffany” and not “Typhan-Knee.” The lack of hesitation on granddaughter is also encouraging.
Liar, that your grandson, hehe, but she at least embracing her gender stuff well.
Ashnod…agree that it is an interesting choice of words all around.

@Ashnod: It probably has more to do with Typhan-Knee wanting to keep the more complicated part of his backstory to himself.
After all, if Typhan mentions being gender bended, they might not believe who he is. Typhan probably wants to keep things simple.
Hmm, hmm! This does, indeed, look promising.
Tiffany has grown to be a better person than Typhan-Knee in many ways — and may improve further still.

Called it!
Not that that was difficult, this time
Ashnod: she has accepted it

Bold Said out and out… Not really any way else to do it. Will get Awkward it this it like her older sister or a aunt..
of her mom I mean..
ok saying this over “Bold Said out and out… Not really any way else to do it. Will get Awkward it this it like her moms older sister or her moms aunt..”
but she did answer by name Melody Tanner.
As someone said elsewhere – the immediate response to “I’m your grandson” is likely to be “Awful big boobs for a grandson…”
This is lovely.
“Your direct daughter was brutally beaten and raped for about 15 years, abused by even the children born of her rape and then killed with a dagger”
“But hey, I turned out alright. Oh, but I’m actually sort of your grandson”
Oh, WOW!
A Great Picture of Tiff!
But now she has to explain.
Yah know, charles81, that’s kinda the primary reason WHY Tiffany’s stayed away. But now she’s coming to understand she can’t keep running away from her past, as well as what she had done as a he.
Would *LOVE* to get this as a print. Without the word balloons. 😉

Where’s her sword gone?
Probably with Uni, the Monohorn

Excellent work here.
