Swords, Sorcery, And Then Some!
Howdy, New Readers! Thanks for reading Exiern!
Written by Scott T. Hicken with art by Antipus, the comic updates Mondays. Please check out the Archive to enjoy the earlier adventures of Typh and Peonie!
Exiern contains mature themes and is best for readers 18+.
Since Alicia (?) arrived at the castle I have been thinking, this is NOT Denver’s sister.
Unless it’s because of the change in all the artists since Typh met her in the forest, but it’s also what she said to Typh of Denver didn’t sound right.
I could be wrong – just my thought.
Apropos of nothing, this strip has established a very high standard for art and story. The colors are superb. Tell me again why I can’t get an omnibus collection? (Aside from the website’s dilithium crystals getting fractured, the huge amounts of time needed to curate the collection, and the stupid amounts of gold-pressed ladinum required to get it to press, that is.)
Oh, dang! For unrelated health reasons, I’ve been away from all my webcomics since early 2016, so I missed the “site drama” here. I can’t wait till the archives are all back online so I can finally catch up on what I’ve missed here the past two years and counting. Glad the comic is still around; your work is appreciated! 😀
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
The eighth rib or the eighth BROKEN rib? (OR both?)
OUCH!
Someone get Typh a drink … a real strong one.
I’ve just noticed Peonie’s quiver. It really should not be on her back. Just think about how difficult it would be to draw an arrow from it.
Depends on the length of the arrow. I have done quiver on back and quiver on hip before.
Interesting how the crazed dragon thinks that the sane dragon is the crazy one…
She never said anything about Denver being crazy, in fact, she even states that he is a genius, albeit a decay-infected one
From someone who has done archery semi competitively in the SCA (medieval re-enactment) the back quiver is faster by far.
Okay, so now we (the readers) get the explanation for why lizard-t!!s wants her brother dead

“…only when I larf…”
Classic Brit comedy 😀
I’m surprised she can run so well with half her tail gone, I would have expected it to mess up her balance more.
Depends on if she needed it for balance
In the background we hear:
Neils: “Should we tail her?”
Bohr: “Well, it looks like she could use one.”

O.B. Juan- that was perfect. 🙂

Who am I going to trust more? The ones whose default position is kindness or the one who doesn’t think twice about torture.
