Swords, Sorcery, And Then Some!
Howdy, New Readers! Thanks for reading Exiern!
Written by Scott T. Hicken with art by Antipus, the comic updates Mondays. Please check out the Archive to enjoy the earlier adventures of Typh and Peonie!
Exiern contains mature themes and is best for readers 18+.
I am surprised that both of them are accompanying her. One wouldn’t seem surprising, but sending both seems more like Urtica trying to trick someone into making assassination attempt on him or something.
Neils, Bohr, Tif, a better trained Princess and a demi-dragon. They could probably take over any small country they might travel through. Cry for the fate of any group of brigands that may try to way lay this company of travelers.
Remember, the King is no slouch – he took down a werebear assassin with a single dagger thrust, after it had taken out an entire troop of bodyguards. He’ll be all right without Neils and Bohr, for a while.
Tiff: Hey, what’s with the yellow marks on these trees?
Peonie: Oh, that’s my Dad. He had his foresters mark off the distance from the castle that –
*bandits leap out into the middle of the road, swords drawn*
Bandit Leader: NO VUN MOVE! VE HAFF YOU SURROUNDET! HAND OVER ZE PRINCESS UND NO VUN GETS HURT!!
Peonie: – this stuff tends to happen to me.
Tiff: Huh. Convenient.

Da Boyz need heavy horses.
PHI He the reason we see Idiot Guards! He Steals the Best PEOPLE!!!
AN, not A. (sorry, Grammar Nazi throwback here)
Oh my G-d… now I understand!
Now I see why the guards from earlier chapters were so stupid. It was that one specific group… it was their Omega Company!
(also, I trust Alicia didn’t eat that poor stablehand. At least, not in the literal sense. He looked cute…)

I thought the soldiers that had escorted her back then all died, at least i remember several of them dying.
I think that was the intention, meps98.
I mean, technically not a small country they travel through so much as travel TO, butstill.

Oh God. They left the C team in charge of the King’s well being. At least Urtica is a clever fighter.
Pretty sure Urtica has assassins or something to watch the shadows.
@Deanatey Typh is already aware how often this happens to the princess, he has had to save her countless times.
