“We are one, but we are many”
“And from all, the lands on Exiern we come.”
“We share a dream, and sing with one voice”
“I am, you are, we are one dragon mind.”
Is it just me, or did the ‘Venerable Wyrm’ not properly answer The Pole? Or was the answer: “You will still be ‘you’ inasmuch you are ‘you’ now, but who says you are ‘you‘ even now?”
Me wonders what Tiff and Co. have been up to unsupervised in the other room 😀
charles81: Are you kidding? I’m not sure why Osir is allowed to listen in on an elder dragon’s conversations (maybe he’s a whelp himself?), but being in such a position must be incredibly enlightening. No wonder he has such a reputation for wisdom.
@Deanatay: Osir is quite old. Its hard to believe he’d be a Whelp, but what makes you think he can hear the Dragon’s mental speech? The first thing he said to Denver is that he was hearing the collective consciousness of all dragon kind that that he was TOLD that it is disquieting at first.
Certainly I can imagine that the dragons might have the power to direct their mental speech at a non-dragon who can’t hear it by default, but I wouldn’t say Osir can simply hear it… having said that, if he is some kind of narrator, aware of the scripted story… he could simply be reading the story as we are *LOL*
Be a Producer! Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Poor Osir has probably been listening to one side of the conversation this whole time.
goo-goo-ga-joob?

We are one, like flowers of one garden/ We are one, like waves of one sea./ we are one, dragonity.

Chemiclord my Birthday was Oct 4. But if your giving us a Tiff, Princess P-cups naked water fight your forgiven.
That’s… actually… not that far off from what happens, Bad Taiming.
Loving how ‘Princess P-cups’ is being used by others 😀
I wonder if they bare any relation to the squirrels…
