I’m pretty sure we do know him. That’s likely the old guy who narrates all the time at the start of chapters. I can’t drum up the desire to delve through the archives to figure it out though, and next week will probably let us know (thanks to Peonie’s outburst… and how she normally reacts) who he is.
@ Ragingagnostic
He isn’t the first narrator, though if you follow the second link above you will see he was narrator once. The first link above explains who he really is.
Be a Producer!Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
The old guy certainly gets around.
Do we know him?

So the creepy old narrator guy is a god? Now I’ve seen everything…
He’s the “intruder” who Peonie met in the castle, but disappeared when she called for the guards.
I thought the Doom guy got dragged off somewhere. And Denver seems to know him by name.

Can’t find/recall other meetings/references.
Thanks Andy. I was pretty sure it wasn’t the doom guy, and even more sure when I went back to the first comic to remind me what he looked like.
Osir looks good for being a hundred or more years old.
P.S.
Is it pronounced ‘OH sir’ (or ‘oh SIR’) or ‘OS er’ (or ‘os ER’)
putting the emphasis on the syllable with the Caps.

He’s the narrator but he doesn’t know what brings them to this spot. That makes no sense. What happened? Has he been in the john this whole time?
“Sorry ’bout killing your pet.”
CPUGuy1: It is pronounced Oh-SEAR.
And he’s not quite a hundred. Closer to 60% of that. He’s not ancient, but not exactly young either.
In addition, he is not the same guy as the first “doomsayer”, though I don’t want to go too far down THAT particular rabbit hole… yet.
It could be he is taking a different approach “to tell story”, as old approach gets people mad at him. Play dumb and just hint this time.
Or it could be he is magic user – “oracle” type, and his magic is blocked here by the sword.

So not old man Mackenzie the Doomsayer.
Osir the nearlysaider… At least I don’t think he actually managed to say DOOM!
@chemiclord
Good Name … Thank You.
The age part could have been alter with magic …
I knew he was a different person then the ‘DOOM’ person.
At least it’s not the monologue guy that Tiff kept throwing rocks at.
