anony – she tried to stab him in the back of the neck/head, and he dodged to the side. It’s not a bad place to try to hit somebody with the dagger/shortsword she seems to have – if you get the spinal column, game over.
Base of the Neck IS(brain stem,no bone) Simply the best Place to do a killing strike with a knife. If it hits you, your dead unless you Supernatural. That Blades a bit thick but the point looks just the right size. Some one lives threw that in the real world , well get on your knees and prey bc there holy or unholy! Screwdriver or Ice picks what you normally use but that blade point would work. But looks like Ravinerbehr made his perception roll!
Has no one noticed the strange resemblence that this Gillian woman (in panel 3) to our Typh? Almost like…I don’t know…the king guy might have liked her fighting spirit more than his son’s and turned her into a guy or something to BE his son? Would explain the impressive physique that the Typhan-Knee in this seems to lack, and how white magic turned her back? Just a thought.
To understand why Tiffany would strongly resemble her mother… you might have to do a little bit of archive diving (to previous storylines at that). I don’t wanna just spell it out though.
So exactly what is so “embarrasing” about being wounded/backstabbed by a person you trust?
How does that exactly make Rhaven-Bear any less of a warrior?

>backstab attack
>hits cheek
wut? no matter how you look at this, it makes no sense. aiming for the jugular from the back, missing and only cutting the cheek?

OMG, she cut his cheek! If this is anything like every anime ever made, that’s a serious wound!

It just seems like something is being left out of all these stories. Some very tiny, yet very crucial, tidbit of information.
Like why Typhan looks like a scrawny school boy and not his fathers son in this picture?
Not scrawny (just look at his biceps), but he was still a kid then
It’s Deja Vu all over again!

Hah ha! Someone noticed!
Well wouldn’t that be a twist.

You mean it has nothing to do with, I don’t know, GENETICS?? 😉

Only thing scarier than a barbarian is his mother.
