Tiffany missed a wonderful opportunity. She should have came clean and revealed that Teresa became a woman when they tried to force the curse away, that the curse can be contagious, that she ran into his sister in the woods and she was a dragon-like monster with a human head, and that odds are he will also change into a dragon-like monster in the near future. Instant mind break. But I guess she does need him functioning.
@Chemiclord: True, though i’m sure she would worry if he still liked her after telling him. But then why did she out Tiff? Can’t help but feel it was out of malice.
Though surely he can understand why Tiff wouldn’t be open about it and Pione had told Tiff to keep her secret to herself too.
Where did the bookworm get armor?? I mean, I know where from, but why?? I think he has it in his head that he has to protect Tiff. That’s so cute…
BTW, equestrian women lose their hymens to horses sometimes – just the act of vigorous riding can rupture them. Just saying, even if the curse gave her one, it may not have lasted…
Heh, imaging losing your virginity to a unicorn! Now that’s irony.
@ deanatay
Maybe it’s not so much about him wanting to protect Tiffany as it is about him not wanting to die either. If he wanted to protect someone else, he’d have weapons.
Nnnnot really. Tiffany was giving him some mixed signals, interspersed with physical and emotional abuse. Most people would get tired of that.
Rather, I’d say this is a bad move on Tiffany’s part. It’d be better if he knew what to expect, and if he heard it from someone who he seems to consider a friend in spite of all the abuse.
Yeah, really. Not Teresa’s place to spill Tiff’s story. Not her privacy she’s invading, it’s Tiff’s. Nor is it Denver’s place to demand info before someone is ready to share it. That’s not conversation, that’s interrogation. No one has the right to tell someone else’s story.
If Teresa didn’t want, for whatever reason, to always be shamefully keeping her own origin secret then she would pretty much have to –at very least– give enough info that would allow even the most clod brained listener to put 2+2 together about Tiff. That is a major problem when your secret is part of someone else’s secret. You might want to keep yours, but you cannot force them to keep theirs just for your convenience.
Teresa should have at least given Tiff a courtesy heads-up though. Then again, she might have tried and got an earful of Tiff’s usual tact and diplomacy when she did. Those two are masters of the art of miscommunication.

Wow loving this page
get him back tell him he’s a dragon
Oh, SNAP.
Well, considering Teresa used to be a man too…
I wonder if Teresa also mentioned she used to be a man, or did she leave that part out?
Teresa has been quite forthcoming as to her past. Gotta remember, she’s not ashamed of who she was or what she’s become.
love tiff’s face in the 4th panel…. Wait What

That felt really Anticlimactic.

@TJ – right click on the picture, open picture and reduce numbers 😛
I just love that 4th panel ^^
Somehow I forgot that Denver didn’t know that.

Does Teresa know why Faden called him “Tadpole”?
Dick move on Denver’s part.

Denver doesn’t seem very upset, though.
Some of Tiff’s expressions in this page are great.
What Sleel said, because I was too lazy to.
@Steel
Exactly! Both Denver and Teresa are in the wrong here.
