Yeah, they aren’t in love with each at all /sarcasm. Of course, me being me and having my own shipping agenda and all, I’d prefer if it eventually settled on a brother/sister kind of non-romantic love (as opposed to the brother/sister kind of Marvel Comics love of course). Somehow I suspect I’m in a minority of one though, so I’ll just enjoy the ride on the Denver/Tiff crazy train.
Nice to see the unicorn back, I guess no one has explained its significance to Tiff yet. Then again, maybe they have and she’s taking it as a badge of honour as being able to ride it proves she hasn’t fully given in to the curse.
Tiff’s upgraded her armor Northern-style for cold weather. Except that all that sensible armor that was covering her legs seems to have disappeared. Not that I’m complaining, but maybe she’s trying to recapture Denver’s interest?
Remember, “There’s no such thing as an attractive woman who doesn’t play crazy mind games!” This means Tiff, now, too.
I assume that Tiff has changed into traveling clothes. Riding for an extended time in full armor can’t be very comfortable for either the rider or the mount, particularly when Tiff is riding bareback. Something soft and flexible on her legs makes sense for both her and the unicorn.
And it’s kinda the female equivalent of her old fur-jockstrap days before the change.

In the real north traveling in the winter is just stupid.
For someone allegedly worried about the winter weather, she could do better than pantyhose… then again, I guess when she was last up there she had nothing more than a loincloth and boots…
@daedalus Wool hose are surprisingly warm, not like regular modern pantyhose and leggings. Plus when you are doing long distance horse riding, you don’t want anything bulky or liable to move and chafe. Tiff’s gear is pretty good, nice sturdy, fur-lined, boots to keep her lower leg warm, well fitted hose to deal with the chafe issue, and a good long fur cloak to cover up for extra warmth.
Now Denver on the other hand, he is wearing his normal palace gear, with regular trousers (oh that is gonna hurt after a couple of days, wonder if someone will rub a lotion on him…hmmmm), regular city boots that don’t seem particularly insulated, normal jerkin which is probably okay on the streets and cold air that you deal with between buildings but useless against a continual blow without shelter, and just what is he planning to do with those scrolls? Wipe his bum with them (the Exiern equivalent of Twilight)? He’s very under-prepared and is going to be in (more) trouble shortly.
They both need a decent pair of gloves though, and a hat or hood (although its possible Tiff’s cloak as one and we just can’t see it at this angle).
I’m surprised she managed to get a pair of saddlebags on the unicorn…that must have been an interesting “discussion”

Lens flare through a hexagonal aperture is an interesting artifact to use in a comic strip.
@David, that’s what happens when you get JJ Abrams to do a guest strip. Next week they’ve got Michael Bay and the entire castle is going to blow up. Twice. Joel Schumacher had to drop out after Tiff saw what he was planning with her costume though.
