lets see a hostile action and having his 2 friends tossed to the floor, likely unconscious.. I’m guessing denver’s going to get another chance to save vs the masks effects.. with a bonus this time.. so lets hope its enough for him to see threw their tricks cause thats when things should really get interesting.
If the faceless people start running really quickly right now, and Denver is a bit slow turning around, they might…just might…make it out of this story arc alive. Once he turns around and sees what is behind him then it could be all over bar the giblets.
Yeah, so much for being ‘saved’ by the Fracture. Now, everyone but Denver is out for the count. Of course, Denver still has the Gendo glasses thing going. This is the perfect setup for Tiff or Theresa coming to, finding Denver lying on the ground, unharmed, not remembering anything, and a lot of little piles of smouldering ash where the Fracture was standing…
Another question to ask: is Cytx here? Is he one of this group of Fracture people, or is he elsewhere?
Agreed, deanatay, sorry Elfguy but if there was a way to slap you upside the head over TCP/IP I would for that pun…
Well though… this is a rather interesting development, isn’t it… XD I’m seriously going to enjoy this. Denver’s just made two church mages crap themselves, and now even the Fractured (notably able to blast Neils through a castle wall) are having trouble. I like where this is heading ^^
I commented earlier about him making a brilliant oblivious academic. You see what I mean, good thing he no longer needs Tiff to keep him alive or he’d be up a certain creek right now.
I can see him getting thrashed or something similar due to ignorance of his ‘power’, then Tiffany getting so angry at the affairs of things that her muscles return. Or perhaps the collar on Theresa will ‘short’ out and she’ll whip up a quick ‘band aid’ for the curse she’s under giving her enough of her strength back to make an epic return.
The Fracture agent is about to get fractured big time. Denver is a lot tougher than he looks, or even knows. We knew that when he broke down the kings doors with a simple shove without realizing it, but he has no clue yet and neither does the Fracture. This probably means he’s very close to his metamorphosis, which might explain why Theresa said she wanted to put a “sort of Band-Aid” on him as well as Tiffany.
It’s also a line you don’t want to hear from your god-daughter right after the words ‘Mom said you’d teach me how to cook when I’m older. What’s this do?’ XD
You know if they didnât have impassive masks for faces I am rather sure theyâd be making âOh s!!tâ faces right now.
I dunno… Didn’t they first help him? What seem to be attacks could be necessary measures needed to confirm his identity. And the exchange of looks could be a “We have found him” look, rather than an “Oh, s!!t” look.
But I’ll wait impatiently for it to play out, one way or the other.
@ Oberon I suppose after they also took pains to recruit a certain pint sized sorcerer to their ranks it would make sense. Adding a dragon sounds good to me.
If it was ever there at all… the magic collar appearing may have simply been a spell representation of the action; the gagging might still be in effect, and the ‘collar’ may have disappeared the second the spell was finished casting.
@Oberon & Anzereke
Personally, I didn’t see them helping anyone, just clearing the corridor so they can get to their target (the necklace perhaps?), so naturally our friends are next (which is why she is attacking him). Also, I doubt they know there was a dragon in there – unlike the boy that they saw casting huge stuff…
Be a Producer! Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup…

I believe I sense a “Hulk Smash” moment coming up.
Till I saw the mask on the close-up girl, I thought there were two Theresas in this image. Are Tiff and Theresa hugging back there?
N, i think it’s more like Tiffany and Teresa are being unconscious back there.

If he’s well grounded, does that mean he’s Dragon his feet?
ElfGuy: you must die for that pun.

Denver looks really awesome in that last panel. But just pissed enough that I’d take steps to ensure I am at least in another town.
Oh please do turn around…
Wow he’s been hiding some tough powers! Or just tough abs!
sorry, Elfguy, even i wouldn’t have made that pun, not to say i didn’t like it.lol!
Another Town?
Mugz…please…I’d feel safe on a different planet…maybe.

As it is well, running would be a good idea.
Hahahaha, I love how she looks at her hand in the first panel with a “wth” kind of posture (if not expression).
@windsinger Loved the link!
thank you Phoebe đ
I kinda thought it was appropriate ;P

Accidentally multiposted in the stupid chatbox…I keep forgetting that “enter” is “Post” and not “Newline” there…
But here’s a Kipling poem Tiffie needs to hear to bring back her badassery:

“More deadlier?” (sigh) the sad state of today’s education system is once again revealed!
Good pun in the title sir, I award you points
“OW! That Hurt! ” The Line a Wizard NEVER EVER WANT TO HERE AFTER HIS BEST SPELL!
@dragondeathlord It’s a line you don’t want to hear from your boss after “fixing” the office photocopier either…I shall say no more.
It’s also a line you don’t want to hear from your god-daughter right after the words ‘Mom said you’d teach me how to cook when I’m older. What’s this do?’ XD

Theresa’s collar is definitely gone now for some reason…
If it was ever there at all… the magic collar appearing may have simply been a spell representation of the action; the gagging might still be in effect, and the ‘collar’ may have disappeared the second the spell was finished casting.
Or the ‘collar’ might have dissipated after the Caster was incapacitated due to most magic relying upon the Will of the caster.
time for a epic a!s kicking i say !
