I think that’s intentional. I don’t know if you people have noticed but every moment that Tiff has let herself act more feminine, her body reacts the same. Notice the longer hair and the softer arms. Ha, and people we complaining about her arms. I love how in the end, Drow knows what he’s doing/

I can not but laugh at the lesbian implication, all thing considering I would expected more Gossip Peonie might of teased and joked about it Badly but people would start to wonder.

yara grey: Tiff’s hair has always been fairly long, it’s just been brushed and styled, so there’s no tangles or knots making it look shorter. Northerners may have a taboo against cutting their hair – many warrior cultures consider long hair a sign of masculinity and prowess in battle.
I don’t think that’s either the style or natural. XD If you look at the last time we saw Tiff from the back, 4 pages ago her hair was her “normal” length – and ended way above her bottom. While here, in the hugging frame (I also don’t find it sexual at all, its cute and very human, considering what Tiff is going through) her hair passes her bum and moves on. XD
Neeh, whatever. It just drew my attention like “whoa what happened here.” I’m going to go with the evilish maid putting some hair-growth potion that took a whole day to take effect into her tea.

Hair extensions could of done that. But not in four panels. So there is a Mistake the question being if her hair supposed to be Normal length or Supposed to be fixed up with extensions for a royal party.
As for the hug I agree with you on that that not it’s sexual . Not saying it’s sexual, it’s not. But I am talking about the guests Idle hands comment.
I am saying the Guests in this page are being very CLEAR they think or want to think and gossip that it is SEXUAL.

Ok does anyone else think the guy in the last panel looks a bit much like Bruce Campbell with a beard? And didn’t Tiff say just a bit before, “By Ash”. Or am I over thinking things again?
I’m struggling to find Bruce Campbell in that man’s face.
And the “By Ash” thing’s probably just some kind of reference to her culture or something that is in the backstory that we don’t need to know to enjoy the story. Tiff’s been doing this the whole comic, if you were paying attention.

I’m pretty sure Thaylien is right…but by extension, people tend to find talk and gossip about *ahem-cough-know-what-I-mean* funnier / a better time.
Also, despite Typh’s assertions that she was just after the gold, I think she’d have found it hard to turn down that kind of pillow were she still a man. Certainly the kind to fluff regularly. You know, cause he’d be crazy to turn away such wonderful tracts of land. Okay, I’ll stop =p But yes, this is a very heartfelt moment between friends and seems fairly obvious as such, but let’s face it…after you went ‘awww’ for a moment, would YOU be able to keep from cracking a joke?
