Drow is on such a roll with these last few pages with this one being so good. Those who have doubts about the story can be silenced. Everything is play and the mysteries deepen. Drow is at the top his game!
Peonie makes me sigh and hate her and lust for her, then she makes me want to nuke my brains in the microwave. In the last panel she reminds of a kid with ADHD or whatever it is acronymed into nowadays.
Oh, and Peonie is kinda right. Warrior Tiffany isn’t needed right now, but she might be soon. And the great thing is Warrior Tiffany and Woman Tiffany are the same person (although it would be kinda cool to split Tiff into those two parts like Star Trek does with transporters and then they could make out.
Anyway, seize the day and enjoy the moment as it will never come again.
It appears as if Styx is going to be disguised as an automaton, both for his safety and as an emotional escape for him. Are the Fractured going to be involved in the celebrations and the ball?
The songwitch’s plan for Peonie was never revealed. I’m very happy that she wasn’t a one-shot and that she DID have a plan. But if she’s going to take control of and use her Jell-o Peonie Pop, things are going to get very, very weird.
The skinwalker was imprisoned for his acts of violence, but who is that with him? Is he going to be released in exchange for something? Used in a dastardly plot?
The only thing I know for sure is that if Bohr is *that* out of commission, then the King is severely underdefended, with all that implies.
Incidentally, Drowemos. I now cannot stop saying “protandry”. Thanks a lot ><
You know I’m glad the bard lady is back. I’m pretty sure Peonie would have love what she had in store for her. Crazy lesbian sex with gelatin clones. Or something. What? Let me dream!
Y’know… SOmething tells me that the person with the skinwalker is actually the king. After all, he needs a new bodyguard and this guy was imprisoned for excessive use of force… Eh? Eh???
Y’know who I really miss… That guy who was used by the travelers back before the art switch… I miss his story and that bit of plot… bring him back, eh?
@jayessell Panel #4 are the medical people trying to save Bohr. You can see his armor in the panel. The reason for this is, with Bohr out of comission for a while the only Warrior bad a!s enough to save the Kingdom is Tiffany.
Okay, my computer gets fried from the power outages and surges in the aftermath of a hurricane back in last autumn, and despite replacing it I only now manage to rebuild my bookmarks list (including webcomics)…
…when the >bleep< did Peonie become a BLONDE???
Okay: a) it's good to see Exiern and Drow doing well and carrying along steadily, and b) the comic does look great (and hint at many interesting things I've missed), but c) *sigh* I've got some catching up to do…
I know I’m late as there is already another page but my comment is most appropriate to this page.
I really think Peonie needs to be taught about the ‘what’s the worst that could happen’ clause. When you start spouting about how safe you are something will ALWAYS come to make you not safe.
So when she says “It’ll be fine.” And Tiffany calls her on it; Shows Tiffany isn’t the dullest barbarian in the shack.
(I point out barbarian because, while Tiffany shows some wisdom here and there, s/he isn’t really too bright.)
Drowemos explains that in the audio-file linked in the recent blog post titled “By the way the dog has 2 heads”. In short it’s because the new artist made it so. Possibly in-comic explanation would be that Peonie could conceivably colour her hair for some reason.
Be a Producer! Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!

Who is the dude in chains?
I like to give Tiffany a try. 😉
@MNH, the guy in the chains is someone you’ll probably learn more about. NO SPOILERS!
I am pretty sure the guy in chains is the skin walker that hurt the girl a few strips ago.
I think the dude in chains is the skin walker, now, what the hell are they doing to Bohr? Pretty good strip by the way
He is the skin walker the “mage boy thing” attacked first, not the one who killed the girl/attacked the knight.

Poor, poor, poor Bhors. I hope he is okay.

On the second panel, it`s the bard with jelly phoenie(*)lol
Interesting. So many questions raised here.

Panel #4: Mira is being reanimated. But that trick never works!

Yep, everything is totally safe. No possible enemies or plots at all…

“That’s something an idiot says.” Yeah, that’s Peonie alright. LOL
@ Gurdiak
Looks like they’re making him bigger, faster, stronger… They have the techn… um, well, the magic.
