ah, there can’t be a crying scene without a League of Their Own comment. Anyways, wow @ a puddle of feminine mush. No worries, I think once the idea of her being something more than a breeding machine, I’m sure she’ll get over, then used to, it. ya knows
Okay, it seems Tiff’s problem isn’t being turned into a woman, it’s that Tiff is a total jackass! I’m hoping that she stays a woman, just due to that attitude.
Real warriors do cry, they cry manly tears of manliness!
I’m thinking that the tears have more to do with her actually facing a cerebral problem, rather than a physical one. She can’t beat to death the fact that she is now a woman. Total helplessness can make anyone cry.
Not to say that the estrogen has no effect, I just think it’s a secondary one.
Hey, just a random thought, those Bear-People, they had a princess/bar-bear-ian heroine with them. Maybe she can show Tiffany that being female doesn’t mean weak and helpless. or claw her face off, right now I’m cool with either option. I still support Princess Peonie in Parlour with the Candlestick too though.
Let me say this. TYphan-Knee’s charm comes from her(his) warrior nature (hot amazon). If TYphan-Knee becomes Tiffany (the breeding machine, laundry cleaning etc.) then the attraction on my part will fade.
I like TYphan-Knee because she(he) is the able and capable type to brig to a fight.
I like the star of Exiern because I am reminded Xena albeit a formerly male dumb blonde version of Xena. That and big boobs. Then there is the whole phallicness of the sword.
I think that generally if you could substitute in the verb “implement” and still make sense, then “effect” is the one you want.
Anyway! Tiff’s already out of “Listen to Me” mode and moving back towards “I Need a Solution” mode, so we know she’s clutching at masculinity. But she’s trying SO HARD to revile what she is that it comes across that she really does sort of like it.
They just need to lesbian each other and get it over with so Peonie can move on to Phi and start setting up another gender-confused triangle 😛 Or maybe Bohr. Yes, Peonie/Bohr would mean more Bohr, and that is a Very Good Thing.
They just need to lesbian each other and get it over with? great that a thing drow is trying to do is being brushed for some good ol girl on girl idea.
She realizes she is growing to accept change and change scares anyone. As much as guys here might like it, I personally Tiff will grow to accept the feelings of those around (the sisterly love of peonie and emontional love from our dense scholar) but thats just this girls take on the matter.
Peonie should absolutely NOT hook with either Neils or Bhor…I’m too busy shipping them with her dad. Awesome Royal Yaoi-threesome.
Once Peonie corrects her current A!!!!!e friend, she can move on to correcting Teresa. Only using whips and rubber this time. With Tiffany correction should be done with silks and velvets.
I’m starting to think my brain is a disturbed place.
Thing is; Peonie KNOWS the answer; the king told her that when Tiff accepts one gender completely she’ll lock in on that gender. Peonie should be telling Tiff the answer to the problem; at least to clear up the ‘what if it’s permanent’ problem.
You know, unless she secretly wants her dad to marry Tiff…..
Nixia, I’m joking (badly) using Peonie’s own incredibly funny phrase. Of course they aren’t going to get it on, and they shouldn’t. They have an interesting, sweet relationship. They’re good for each other like they are. As you say, they’re like sisters. Personally, I want Tiff with Denver, at least a little more, no matter how doomed that is.
Galdon, I think what the king was telling Peonie is that Tiffany’s curse is not a curse in the traditional sense, but only a change. Calling it a “curse” is a matter of perception. If Tiffany comes to think of it as normal, then she’s essentially no longer a cursed man. She’s a woman.
Now, Peonie’s dad has his own reasons for advocating that Tiff accept her situation, but the fact he’s suggesting it implies that he’s been told that the curse can’t be lifted. Otherwise he wouldn’t risk, say, marrying Tiffany and then her turning back into a man. If he’s been told by Royal-level experts that she is stuck as a woman, then his advice to Peonie is pretty sound (apart from the marriage thing).
awwww Coyote, you’ve won a friend for life for sharing the same interest as I do on that matter. lolz. I like the idea of accepting being female on her own terms; which would be a nice middle finger to the king. I think Denver is the right guy for her because he’d be the dude(damsel) in distress in the relationship. The house husband while the bad a!s warrior wife does the hunting. I so agree with the sisterly love. I mean they’ve grown closer enough to be sworn sisters. I like how Drow is going natural route and not doing something cliche like Tiff lusting after any woman. That’s our author!
LONG ago I said something to the effect (!!!) that Tiff is more powerful as
a woman. A higher “role playing character score”. Less physically granted,
but I wouldn’t be surprised if she was smarter now and had other attributes
increased.
(Sorry. This comment would have been phrased better had I any knowledge
of Role Playing Games!)
It’s not that warriors don’t cry,it’s that takes certain things to make them cry. If anything,it takes a real man to cry. To break down as such. BUT! That being said, there’s a fine line between real manliness, and Tidus from FF10.

There’s no crying in
BaseballBarbarian Warriorhood!Like I said earlier, her brain is soaking in estrogen so it’s got to affect (effect? $#@!)
Tiff’s mind eventually.
However, I think it will only make her what a female Barbarian Warrior would have been.

Ah estrogen, you slow conniving bitch. About time the femmene hormone is taking affect.
Good Breading? “Watch out…she’s got a loaf of sourdough!” (Perhaps you meant “Only good for breeding?”

Little known fact: Barbarian women are world renowned frycooks, largly due to their legendary breading.
“Effect
a change which is a result or consequence of an action or other cause:”
Sourced from the Oxford Dictionaries Online.
So actually effect is correct jayessell.
And on another note, I’m totally with you on that one LookBeyond.
Argh! I hate being even a low-grade grammar Nazi!
“Affect” was right. The rules are pretty arcane, but can be found here: http://www.differencebetween.net/language/difference-between-affect-and-effect/

@Abeo, you can beat anything to death if you try hard enough! Even facts! Although s/he might have to go via a god or two…
@Elfguy, Tiffany having ANYTHING in her hands, even bread, means she is armed. “watch out” is a good idea, no?
@LookBeyond, Nah. Your brain is a perfectly normal place. You just need to redecorate the world around you. May I suggest fire?
Remember, you have 3 options in a crisis- acceptance, denial and candlestick…

Using the candlestick? Wow, Peonie’s getting kinky.

@Elfguy “Look out,he’s got a candy cane!” XD
Also,You want that to change,Tiff? Then prove them wrong! Keep doing what you do!
Yup. Only good breading.
After this, her only choice is to become a baker and bake bread for the rest of her life.
