Not necessarily, he didn’t exactly stick around to make sure. Out of all the characters who were present, he is the least suited to know whether she is really dead.
probably dead I think, but not certainly. We’ve got circumstantial from a dubious eyewitness (well, even more dubious than a regular eyewitness anyway) and a statement that may well just be based on gossip.
What is a wookie in the Exiern world anyway? And how did that creepy clown get the latex for the balloon?
In regards to the clown’s balloon…. wizard did it? 😛 I am very curious as to the origins of these masked people. What exactly are they? And where did they come from and what do they do? 0.o
Some people who read this comic are WAY too obsessed with the various spelling/grammatical errors that pop up. As a detail-oriented Virgo, I get it. I understand how the errors can be very distracting for some and really break up the flow of the story for those people, but come on. Exiern has been submitted for our enjoyment, not for grading and red ink. Learn to get around it, or at least keep quiet and move on. I have found that I get so focused on the story that I tend to read it as intended and only notice the errors if I take time to read the comments. Consider doing the same, please.
He’s turning into Faden or something like Faden. Same snarky tone, same knowledge of fourth-wall breaking stuff. Remember how Faden talked about alarm clocks? Ctyx even seems to be tapping into Faden’s knowledge of arcane stuff.
I would kinda doubt that she’s dead; those cuts looked pretty shallow and superficial, and she didn’t lose much blood at all. Almost certainly less than a pint, that’s not close to lethal.
Be a Producer! Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
So she is dead, then…darn

The word “Was” in the last bubble isn’t needed. “Not exactly what I meant” instead of “Not exactly what I WAS meant”

It’s a creepy clown, they don’t make baloons of latex, they use your intestines !!
Maybe a sad clown might have gone better with his angst ?

The carnival thing is creepy.
Spelling errors, panel 2:

Who cares what’s spelled wrong. The Nixia Golem is there!!

@MNH, The carnival is creepy, because he’s the only real human in the picture. Everyone else is the Lightning-faced mask people.
Circuses are ALWAYS creepy.
Hey! I resent that–I am a clown, you know! <|:o()
…actually…you probably had no idea. Carry on :p

I’m guessing dimension hopping Robots…. Wait… does this mean we will be getting a blade bunny crossover at some point?
I’m thinking…wraiths?
At least they’re not killer klowns from outer space! 🙂
Clowns, argh, why did it have to be clowns. I hate those guys.
Alveric
Maybe they’re honestly just clowns.
Regular, ordinary, Elemental-bound, robotic, autonomous, creepy, eerie-noise-making, fueled-by-the-pain-and-sorrow-of-others clowns…
Like I said. Ordinary clowns… *Shudder* What does it say about me that their empty, hollow faces aren’t nearly as frightening as the clown costumes?
@Abeo.
Everyone else has mentioned that the girl died, even the guards.
So yes, she’s dead.
