The skinwalker BEARly made it with his hide intact
Maan, had to go through older stuff to search for the guard captain’s name (it’s Phi, not Niels as awesomely cheesy as that would be).
Heee. Everyone’s favorite supersayian :DDD
Every time Bohr says something it takes me a while to stop laughing.
I really don’t think it would be a good idea for those four shape-shifters to startle, jump, or ambush, a sorcerer with little to no impulse control.
I wonder if Ctyx noticed that his background changed. He went from the middle of the street surrounded by skinwalkers to standing next to the buildings with no-one in sight whilst he was speaking.
Then again, maybe everyone legged it when Bohr showed up.
(But I noticed another spelling error. It should be mite loopy instead of might loopy.)
@M “Troublesome” in the second panel as well ๐ Punctuation and spelling aren’t the strong suit of Exiern. That’s busty barbarians, princesses in perilous predicaments, wily wizards and manipulating monarchs. And you’ll never be bored with Bohr ๐
She is NOT his sister. Other wise some of the dialog I have coming up and frankly some of the stuff that has happened already would be a little creepy.
Come now, M, when referring to humanoid females, Nymph is clearly a reference to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nymph and NOT the insect term, despite the earlier mention of insects…
interesting, Borh’s Armor has two Gold details that seems to glow blue.
I went back a couple of comics and it only glowed blue right after the bear guy had transformed back to human form.
Maybe the armor is designed to absorb magic ?
That would explain the boys suddenly faltering magic.
Sigh. I missed http://www.exiern.com/?p=1005, so I was judging by the very strong visual resemblance. I mean, yeah, the hair’s different, and he’s a little darker. But otherwise, pretty much all the differences I notice are gender differences. Well, and also, Ctyx has Faden’s hand, and sometimes his eyes turn red.
Be a Producer!ย Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HEREย following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
Hey, he called her “Nymph” – that means he finds her sexually attractive (Or he’d have used an insult with less “adult activities” overtones)
I wonder if he noticed the 4 shapeshifters behind him?

Just a couple of small grammar/spelling thingies – Panel 1, “you’re instead of “your”, final panel, “mite” instead of “might”.
And Bohr is made of awesome ๐

@Elfguy A nymph is the last stage of an insect before reaching adulthood. Also, the hand is speaking because the head ain’t listening ;D
I think you’re misunderstanding the ‘camera’ angles MrGBH.
Nymph should be saying ‘you’re’ in the first panel too but only dweebs pick up on such things.
D’oh!

It’s only panel four where Ctyx suddenly jumped closer to the buildings. In panel five, he’s back in the middle of the street.
Maybe the ‘your’ is just because Ctyx’s sister doesn’t know any better…
She’s Ctyx’s sister? I thought she was his sorta-girlfriend.

That or they’re just a “Detect Magic” type item that lets him know when there’s magic around…
Well, it would make sense if the Kings personal bodyguards have ways of dealing with unfriendly magic, in case an assasin should be wielding magic.
Not that I’d ever imagine any assasin who would want to get close to either Niels, nor Borh. ๐

Of course, sometimes that happens with couples.
