*Hacksplt!* >.< Man, am I lucky I wasn't actually drinking anything when I read King Machiavelli's last words. The man is RUTHLESS, isn't he? But how much money would he have to flash Tiffany before she'd be willing to be the mother of his children?
As for Tiffany improving the royal bloodline… Eh. *waggles hand* King Machiavelli, despite his grey hair, is fast and strong enough to knock Tiffany down with a well-placed sucker punch, and he might be a fair match against David Xanatos in a chess game. Peonie's tough as nails in her own way, not to mention she has diplomatic skills. Not every ruler of the nation needs the title of 'The Blood-Soaked Conqueror' added to their name in the history books.
Well Rock he might just end up blood-soaked no mater what as to being a conqueror well that errrrr depends on if he is alive after the ordeal >_>; but HEY on the bright side if the Kind dose die ^_^b Tiff would be in charge of the kingdom.
So the king is a man after my own heart. Though I do believe he is a lot smarter than I, not to mention my favorite quality in a person, RICH. Hell I’ll willingly turn myself into a woman & marry the king for that kind of wealth, pop out babies yearly, & even put up with him cheating on me when I turn into a fat cow because I will secretly squirrel away a fortune for when he leaves me.
The king is far more progressive than I would expect, but still isn’t taking into account that Tiffany may not react well to this arrangement. And should the king somehow con her into the marriage with the promise of even more money, and even somehow consummate the marriage without losing his wedding tackle or head (or both), he has *not* taken into account that the first time he tries to overtly control her – or as soon as she realizes he’s manipulating her – there will be hell to pay.
Considering how dangerous she has proven to be, I think this is far too risky a plan just to get a pretty bride and become a little richer.
Eric — That’s because he sees Tiff as a woman, not a full barbarian. I believe it’ll take exactly three microseconds for Tiff to scatter the guards like tenpins again, grab Kingy by the lapels and toss him either out the nearest window, or through three or four walls, then forcibly give him a pinectomy.
Would that be a Great Northern Pike? Holy mackerel these fish puns have become a bad halibut.
Sorry had to get that out of my system.
The other question not being considered is what would Denver have to say about it. Tiff knows his sister is ‘fine’ for certain degrees of that and he will be taking the same path in a couple of short years. The kingdom may not survive that encounter — the woodwork already is having issues with it.
A thought just occurred to me. Maybe that grown dragon from before recognized Denver as a dragon-let before and didn’t try extra hard to go after them.
Jarwy, kings don’t leave their wives, either they just have a mistress or do a Henry the VIII. But hey he’s rich, physically attractive, inteligent, high status and gives typh orgasisms (or least his money does) what more do want in life.
Has the king been notified that Tiffany’s curse sometimes casts it’s self? This living curse dosn’t want to be dispelled/killed. As it is, Tiffany is a living embodyment of said curse. Though the king may be in no life threatening danger. Tiffany has been having some trouble delivering leathal blows in the town square. The curse acting up to protect its existance by keeping Tiffany alive perhaps.
Let us not forget that TYphan-Knee has a thing for a librarian that will grow up into a dragon.
Someone even mention that she has thought about becoming a Dragoon.
My thoughts? A royal wedding will probably take a good month to finish setting up an arranging. (This is allowing for the fact that MOST arrangements were already made, and WHO is the bride, and who the groom needs changing). In that time, a certain library could finish growing up, (given that he is already breaking furniture) and well… swoop down during the wedding ceremony and fly off with the fair damsel in his clutches… rescuing her, so to speak.
I don’t think Tiffany will kill the King or deprive him of his royal staff and jewels, she will just move them from one position and cram them up into a more secure vault. Still, if the King married Tiffany and Tiffany killed him, could Peonie not pardon her anyway. Not saying that Peonie would not mourn her father, it is just that he is not a nice man.
Be a Producer! Your name/title with an optional SFW hyperlink will be posted prominently HERE following the close of the month! You’ll also receive monthly mailings from Exiern’s author, Scott T. Hicken!
I’m trying to think of an annoying portmanteau word for the use of King-Tiffany shippers. Kiffany?
“He assures me that [Tiff once having been a male warrior] should not impede her ability to produce heirs.”
True, King. But you losing your sperm-makers and your funstick on your wedding night will impede heir-producing _a lot_. Words to the wise.
Tiffaning, Tiffarex.
I mentioned in an earlier post that Typh would improve the royal bloodline, or at least add some genetic diversity.
Maybe she’s the solution to an existing problem in that reguard.
i suddenly have the urge to ransack a kingdom set fire to the castle and parade the kings head on a pike down what left of the street.

If i recall tiff. almost kill a women in the past just because she was trying to make her look sexy.[http://www.exiern.com/?p=24]
Plus the proposition at the bar that add up. I thing the king will have some difficulties in is plan.
Oh this really can’t end well. The king is just asking to get split in two.

*carefully reserved applaunce*
Though I would no doubt loose those hands, arms if a certain she-barbarian caught the meaning of it. I am intrigued by this storyline.

I wonder if Tiffany’s curse it’s transmittable via sex…? In all seriousness, I think most of the danger to the King will come from Tadwick not Tiff.
congratulation 1024 anniversary

Ryuuguu- Henry VIII created the Church of England just so he could divorce without the Pope’s OK.

I do wonder if the king will get curse like the brotherhood.
I say that Tiffany should marry the King, then throw him out of a window.. she’d then be queen, have access to all of the monies, and have no spouse.

The king is one smart AND manipulative AND devious AND foresightful dude.
Anyone else think the king has absolutely no intention of marrying Tiffany? He’s got some other plan and he IS going to get it.
The king is easily the most dangerous thing in the comic.
@DavidSmith — The king is more dangerous than Faden?
The king should marry the red-haired teen girl. They deserve each other.

@Ryuuguu: I think you may overestimate the draw of wealth on Tiff, regardless of her earlier reaction. 😛
Looking back at this comic – what happened to Peonie’s hair colour?
