Well, I didn’t even know this existed but I stumbled upon this short story quite by accident only this weekend which continues this particular story just that bit further. Link to the first of four parts here:
Also, according to the cast list in the preview pages on Amazon for the first Exiern trade paperback by Drowemos, Ce is short for Cedric.
Brilliant.

Worth looking at as this particular plot line might be reappearing sooner rather than later, either way it’s definitely going to be back one day.
